Job summary

Boulder Medical Center is seeking a patient-focused Medical Receptionist to join our team at the Boulder, CO clinics. You will be the first friendly face patients meet, handling calls, scheduling, and verifying information.

We provide onboarding and training to ensure success in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Full-time hours are available with benefits; prior reception experience in healthcare is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage phone calls professionally and accurately record information.
• Proficient data entry with attention to detail and grammar.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls promptly and assess patient needs for appointments.
• Summarize appointment details before ending calls.
• Record patient demographics accurately in the system.
• Schedule/reschedule/cancel appointments per provider protocol.
• Navigate and operate the EMR system and input information for patients.
