Job summary

ARS Treatment Centers in Ephrata, PA is seeking a Patient Access and Authorization Manager to oversee front desk operations, scheduling, and patient inquiries, aligning with our mission of respectful, empowering, and excellent patient care.

You will handle receptionist duties, process payments in the Methasoft system, prepare patient records, code invoices, and ensure compliance with state licensure, CARF, 42 CFR and HIPAA.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years working in an office, preferably a medical environment.
  • Proficient in the use of personal computers.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills as well as excellent telephone etiquette.
  • Successful completion of State required background check and required training.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for receptionist duties that include timely answering of telephones and recording messages
  • Responsible for accepting payments and recording in the Methasoft system. Oversees daily cash report preparation and ensures completion of daily bank deposit.
  • Responsible for preparing patient records for admission and reviewing completeness of admissions paperwork
  • Codes invoices where appropriate
  • Proficient with understanding and applying State Licensure Standards, CARF Standards, 42 CFR and HIPAA standards and Company policies

Position Description

The Patient Access and Authorization Manager is responsible for all aspects of front desk operations, including telephones, inquiry calls and scheduling of appointments where appropriate. The Patient Access and Authorization Manager will adhere to the vision and mission of the Company.
