Qualifications

• Prior experience in patient access, registration or customer service preferred.
• Familiarity with HIPAA privacy and patient confidentiality is essential.
• Experience with healthcare databases and office software is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors, creating a positive first impression.
• Process pre-registration/registration and verify insurance details.
• Collect patient copays and provide cost estimates; refer self-pay to navigator.
• Operate in a HIPAA-compliant manner and support revenue cycle tasks as needed.
• Operate switchboard and manage on-call/messages as described.
