Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year of experience, preferably 3 - 6 months.
• Completion of in-house registration procedures and medical terminology courses upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Conducts patient interviews to collect accurate information for admissions.
• Explains financial requirements to patients and collects deposits.
• Prepares pre-admission and admitting forms, facilitates room transfers.
• Makes bed assignments based on patient preference and condition.
• Receives payments and issues receipts.
