Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent; associates degree preferred.
• Strong typing and data-entry skills with accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities; proficient in English.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic office software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Register patients for outpatient and inpatient services.
• Collect and record patient demographics, physician, and insurance information.
• Secure pre-registration data for Diagnostic Imaging and direct admissions.
• Complete registration and admission paperwork.
• Assign beds and rooms as needed and provide clerical support.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and support department goals.
