Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year general clerical experience required.
• Post-high school training may substitute for required experience.
• Comparable education/experience may substitute for the above.

Responsibilities

• Register patients completely and accurately.
• Explain payment policies and collect payments as needed.
• Use Hospital Information System (HIS) and verify third-party data.
• Obtain information to complete various forms.
• Route patients to appropriate departments and perform discharge steps.
• Adhere to infection control policies and attend required training.
