Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year clerical/customer service experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Certification to local organizations (AAHAM/NAHAM) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for patients and visitors in Patient Access/Patient Administrative Services.
• Assist with data collection and verification of demographics and insurance information.
• Review benefits, obtain pre-certifications/pre-notifications, collect co-pays and deposits.
• Provide cost estimates and information on financial assistance options.
• Provide accurate registration paperwork and obtain necessary signatures.
• Navigate patients to clinics and appointment locations.
• Maintain scheduling templates and support care management communications.
