Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of clerical, customer service or receptionist experience required; healthcare setting preferred.
• Certification and memberships to local organizations such as AAHAM, NAHAM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, delivering customer service in Patient Access/Patient Administrative Services.
• Collect and verify patient and insurance demographics, review benefits in Epic, provide cost estimates and pre-certifications as needed.
• Obtain required signatures and complete enrollment paperwork accurately for timely registration.
