Prime Healthcare Services is seeking a Patient Account Registrar for Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, IL. The role involves interviewing patients to collect demographics, securing insurance details, and coordinating with the Admitting team to process information and authorizations.

Mansioni

• Interviews patients or representatives to obtain demographics.
• Secures insurance information, eligibility, benefits and authorizations as applicable.
• Works with Admitting department (PBX operator and reception) and input/retrieve data.
• Communicates with patients across age groups using appropriate terminology.
• Maintains proficiency in medical terminology.
• May be assigned special projects with deadlines.
