• Secure insurance information, eligibility, benefits and authorizations as applicable.
• Coordinate with Admitting department and PBX/reception areas.
• Operate computer to input and retrieve data.
• Communicate with patients using age-appropriate methods across all ages.
• Maintain proficiency in medical terminology.
• Complete special projects within set timeframes.
