Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.

• Customer service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients or representatives to obtain demographics.
• Secure insurance information, eligibility, benefits and authorizations as applicable.
• Work with Admitting department, PBX operator, and reception to input data.
• Communicate with patients across age groups using age-appropriate methods.
• Maintain proficiency in medical terminology.
• Accept special projects or assignments with specified timelines.
