You will handle check-ins, verify demographics and insurance, collect payments, and use medical management software. Strong communication and accuracy are essential in this office environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication with judgment and discretion.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Typing speed of at least 40 wpm.
• Experience with medical management software in a front-office setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a courteous, prompt manner.
• Check-in patients and verify demographic and insurance details.
• Assist patients with ambulatory difficulties and collect payments.
• Register new patients and verify contact and insurance information.
• Answer phones, screen calls, and route messages.
• Maintain a neat front office and reception area.
• Partner with Practice Manager to address problems.
• Attend educational meetings as scheduled.
• Input daily charges and receipts as directed.
