Qualifications

• 1+ years of registration or front-desk experience in an acute care hospital.
• Strong knowledge of health insurance verification and prior authorization workflows.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect required forms and co-payments.
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorizations.
• Schedule appointments and educate patients on guidelines.
• Maintain and audit medical records and handle inquiries.
• Ensure HIPAA and EMTALA compliance and uphold hospital values.
