Job summary

Community College of Philadelphia seeks a Pathways Student Success Coordinator to lead Pathway Communities within Guided Pathways, serving as a liaison among Facilitators and faculty to ensure cohesive efforts and holistic student supports.

You will collaborate across Enrollment Management, Student Life, Advising, Counseling, Library, Learning Labs, and more to expand Pathway reach while emphasizing equity and inclusion across the campus community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a student support services function in a higher education setting.
• Experience in developing and implementing student programming leading to increased retention and academic outcomes.
• Ability to work with diverse constituencies and contribute to a team-based environment.
• Understanding of issues affecting equity in higher education.
• Commitment to supporting an inclusive environment on campus.
• Demonstrated project management skills and strong communication, collaboration and organization.
• Demonstrated knowledge of data analysis and evaluation of outcomes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Confer with academic leadership regarding goals for upcoming semesters and how to support Guided Pathways.
• Assist faculty and staff to develop and implement programming to increase retention and outcomes.
• Coordinate the delivery of academic support, career development, cultural enrichment, leadership development and life skills for Pathway Communities.
• Assist in retention initiatives and strategies to improve pathways students' outcomes.
• Foster collaboration between Pathway Community Facilitators to share practices and progress.
• Provide support to Pathway Community Facilitators as they implement activities to support student success.
• Collaborate with various college units to advance Pathway Community efforts.
• Maintain an online course for Pathway Facilitators as a repository and discussion forum.
• Synthesize seven Pathway Communities' reports annually and share progress with leadership.
• Assess initiative effectiveness and provide updates to Academic and Student Success Council.
