Job summary

Rooted School Indianapolis seeks a Director of Student Success & Pathways to lead a comprehensive K-12 student support and postsecondary pathways strategy. The role oversees special education, multilingual learner services, postsecondary advising, work-based learning, and family partnerships.

The ideal candidate is a systems leader who can build coordinated student support across departments, supervise staff, ensure compliance, and translate the school's vision into measurable student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education, leadership, counseling, or a related field.
• Experience with charter schools, startup environments, or school expansion.
• Experience supervising education staff and programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a comprehensive K-12 student success strategy across MTSS and postsecondary needs.
• Oversee special education and Section 504 programs with compliance oversight.
• Lead multilingual learner/ELL services and family communication supports.
• Build and manage postsecondary advising, work-based learning, internships, and credentials.
• Establish data-driven systems for tracking outcomes and continuous improvement.
