Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Pathology Technician I to provide technical support across Anatomic Pathology, ensuring maximum efficiency and uninterrupted workflow in the laboratory.

The role involves tissue gross examination or dissection per CAP education, accurate specimen identification, accessioning, and ongoing training in lab procedures. Shift is 3:00pm-11:30pm, Monday-Friday, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 60 semester hours with CAP education requirements.
• 24 semester hours of science including chemistry/biology are required.

Responsibilities

• Performs tissue gross examination or dissection per CAP education and site competencies.
• Maintains accurate specimen identification throughout the laboratory process.
• Accessioning and resolving accessioning and billing errors.
• May participate in developing or revising laboratory procedures and training.
• Other duties as assigned by site.
