Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution.
• OR Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college and education/training equivalent to high complexity testing per CLIA.
• Diploma and/or transcripts must be provided.
• Education outside the United States requires translation and foreign equivalency proof.

Responsibilities

• Process, describe and dissect tissue specimens under supervision of a pathologist.
• Prepare frozen sections for rapid diagnosis.
• Perform data entry of patient and specimen information and maintain records.
• Perform general lab functions and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
