This position involves receiving, processing, and distributing clinical specimens in a fast-paced environment. This position is every other Friday and Saturday from 11pm - 7am.
Responsible for receiving, processing, and distributing clinical laboratory specimens.
Does this position require Patient Care? No
Education: Associate's Degree in a related field of study preferred or High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No
Experience: Experience in a laboratory or healthcare setting, 1-2 years preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of basic laboratory equipment and terminology; Ability to follow established procedures and protocols with attention to detail and accuracy; Strong communication and teamwork skills; Ability to work independently and in a team environment; Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office; Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
