1. Completing receipt, registration, order entry, and labeling of specimens in compliance with regulatory parameters.
2. Resolving specimen submission issues.
3. Managing high volumes of telephone calls, filing, and distributing patient information.
4. Maintaining logs and scanning documents into the electronic medical record.
5. Operating and performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on departmental instruments.
6. Possibly handling esoteric test requests, including order entry and assisting with specimen handling at FNA and biopsy procedures.
7. Ensuring accuracy to impact patient care positively.
8. Working independently to meet deadlines.

Qualifications:
