Job summary

You will handle transcription, medical terminology, and coordination of tasks across multiple locations, ensuring smooth report distribution and billing processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and knowledge of medical terminology.
• Typing speed and accuracy with computer systems.
• Experience in pathology office operations or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform routine tasks to support pathology reporting and data management.
• Dispatch and schedule pathologists at multiple locations and manage slides and blocks.
• Handle communication with physicians, reference labs, and other departments.
• Maintain inventory for reference labs and shipping supplies, and ensure CAP compliance.
• Provide backup support for departmental needs and assist with tumor boards and autopsy documentation.
