Responsibilities

• Gross examination of surgical pathology specimens
• Lead role in grossing areas of the department
• Describe and prepare specimens for histological processing
• Supervise autopsy service and assist in prosection
• Manage day-to-day morgue operations and regulatory compliance
• Assist in staffing, training, and competency development
• Contribute to project management, budget development, and resource management
• Collaborate with laboratory leadership on technical and administrative decisions
