Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists pathologists in accessioning, dissection, description, and sampling of specimens and autopsy work.
• Supervises and trains entry-level residents in gross room pathology under protocol parameters.
• Performs frozen sections and intra-operative consultations, coordinating tissue acquisition for research.
• Maintains digital images and specimen photography standards.
• Manages specimen labeling, storage, disposal, reagents, and equipment; participates in post mortem activities as needed.
