Responsibilities

• Submit and prepare specimens for histologic testing.
• Perform gross specimen photography.
• Assist in process improvement and policy adherence.
• Process frozen sections and touch preparations for rapid interpretation.
• Train new staff within scope of practice.
• Contribute to writing and review of procedures.
• Attend relevant pathology meetings.
• Maintain lab equipment and a clean work area.
• Assist in conference organization.
