Qualifications

• 3-5 years of grossing experience in CAP-accredited lab
• ASCP PA(ASCP) certification required or HTL (ASCP) with 3-5 years grossing experience
• Experience with CAP laboratory standards and grossing protocols

Responsibilities

• Gross and examine surgical pathology specimens following lab protocols
• Process GI, prostate, breast core biopsies, skin excisions, GYN, POC, and other small biopsies
• Ensure accurate specimen documentation and reporting
• Maintain compliance with CAP, lab, and QA standards
• Collaborate with pathologists and staff to support workflow
• Utilize LIS for specimen tracking and documentation
