Peet’s Coffee in Palo Alto, CA, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in driving sales and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will help uphold Peet’s service model while growing with the team.

This developmental role aims to progress to Store Manager within 12–18 months, with pay between $28.00 and $31.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package including 401k matching, medical/dental/vision, paid vacation, holidays, and employee coffee perks.

Qualifications

• 2 years of management/supervisory experience in service or food industry.
• Maintain open availability and 40-hour work week.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in achieving goals and drive sales.
• Lead the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Coach and develop team members and manage staffing.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and scheduling.
• Oversee daily coffeebar operations, inventory, and safety standards.
