Peet’s Coffee is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for the Palo Alto District in Menlo Park, CA. You will support the Store Manager, help drive sales, coach the team, manage daily coffee bar operations, and ensure excellent customer experiences.

We offer a competitive pay range of $28.00–$31.00 per hour plus benefits and growth opportunities. This developmental role aims to prepare you for a Store Manager position within 12 to 18 months, with tuition support and a strong culture of teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2 years of management/supervisory experience in service, food industry or equivalent.
• Open availability and ability to follow management scheduling guidelines, 40 hours per week.
• Ability to work varied hours including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the country where the job is located.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in achieving financial and operational goals and drive sales.
• Provide coaching and feedback to build team knowledge and skills; support performance issues with Store Manager.
• Support recruiting, hiring, and staffing levels to maintain coverage and performance.
• Assist in daily coffee bar operations, inventory control, cash handling, cleanliness, and safety/labor compliance.
