Job summary

Peet’s Coffee is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in California to support the Store Manager in achieving financial and operational goals and to lead a team focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management/supervisory experience in service/food industry or equivalent.
• Open availability and ability to follow scheduling guidelines (40 hours/week).
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States, 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager in achieving financial and operational goals.
• Lead and develop team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and maintaining staffing levels.
• Oversee daily coffeebar operations, inventory, cash handling, cleanliness, and safety compliance.
