Job summary

Yesway, Inc. in Carlsbad, NM is seeking a capable Store Supervisor to assist the Store Manager with staff development, store responsibilities, and daily operations.

You will schedule employees, resolve customer concerns, ensure compliance with regulations, assist with audits, maintain merchandise placement, oversee guest transactions, and monitor profits and inventory controls. This is an equal opportunity employer with a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year supervising experience in fast food, restaurant, retail or convenience operation preferred.
• Successful completion of required certification testing upon employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with training and development of employees and store responsibilities.
• Scheduling employees for shifts.
• Resolving store issues including customer concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all required regulations and requirements.
• Assist with audits and proper placement and stocking of merchandise.
• Ensure hospitality for all store guests by overseeing timely guest transactions.
• Monitor profits through end of day procedures, shrink indicators, lottery, stock audits, vendors, car wash operations and retail waste.
