Journeys Kidz in Bayshore, NY is seeking a Store Co-Manager to support the Store Manager and Manager In Training. This role focuses on recruiting, training, and managing store personnel to hit sales goals, control expenses, and safeguard assets.

You will help develop a high-performing team and ensure a stable, engaging customer experience. The position requires leadership in a fast-paced retail setting, willingness to learn, and the ability to work 45 hours per week, including night and weekend

Qualifications

• Experience in retail supervisory roles preferred.
• Strong customer service and leadership skills.
• Ability to recruit and train a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals and standards of performance.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring of high-caliber employees for in-store needs.
• Assist in training and developing a successful sales team.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and accountability to all employees by enforcing company policies.
• Ensure that all company initiatives are properly implemented and to the standard of the company direction.
• Recognize talented staff and develop them for growth within the company.
• Supervise and manage all aspects of daily store operations in the absence of Store Manager and Manager In Training.
• Supervise Loss Prevention practices in the absence of Store Manager and Manager In Training.
• Communicate store needs to Store Manager and Manager In Training.
• Resolve customer issues effectively and provide a fun, full-service experience.
