Top Echelon Software, LLC seeks a Patent Agent to join its Intellectual Property (IP) - Patents Practice. Hybrid role with opportunities to work with inventors and attorneys on patent prep and prosecution in emerging technologies.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics with excellent academic record.
- 2+ years of substantive experience in patent preparation and prosecution.
- Experience in data science, ML/AI, wireless communications, sensors, semiconductors, IoT, optics is highly advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Work with inventors and attorneys to prepare and prosecute patent applications in emerging technology areas.
- Identify inventions through technical discussions with inventors.
- Perform novelty and clearance searches to delineate inventions from existing technologies.
- Draft comprehensive patent applications and negotiate the scope of patent rights with the USPTO.
- Prepare reports and support documentation for patent portfolio management.
