Job summary

The City and County of Denver is seeking an Equipment Operator II (Patch Truck) for Street Maintenance. You will operate a patch truck, perform pothole patching, inspect vehicles, maintain logs and assist in snow removal, reporting to DOTI.

Requirements include a high school diploma and two years of experience with light to medium equipment, plus a valid CDL B. The role offers competitive pay and benefits, with a salary range of $25.30–$37.96 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of general labor with two years operating light to medium equipment.
• CDL-B license with appropriate endorsements required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Patch Truck for pothole patching.
• Inspect vehicle for safety and perform pre/post trip checks.
• Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
• Keep trip records and logs; report defects or incidents.
• Assist in snow removal and respond to public inquiries.
• Train and mentor junior team members.
