Job summary

A prominent culinary organization based in Miami Beach is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef de Cuisine to join their team. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic and be driven to maintain the highest standards of cuisine and professionalism. Responsibilities include creating and preparing pastry items, managing a team of cooks, and ensuring workspace efficiency. Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in high volume and fine dining restaurants preferred but not required.
  • Culinary diploma with a concentration in Pastry Arts or equivalent in experience strongly preferred.
  • Team-oriented and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Create and prepare all pastry items as required by the business.
  • Prepare, clean and organize ingredients for use in the kitchen.
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean and sanitized at all times.
  • Oversee a team of junior pastry cooks and other staff members as necessary.
