Job summary

Montage International is seeking a Pastry Cook III at Montage Deer Valley to prepare high-quality pastries for restaurant and banquets in a luxury hotel setting. The role requires at least one year of cooking experience in a standalone restaurant or hotel; luxury hotel experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• One year minimum cooking experience in a standalone restaurant or hotel
• Luxury hotel experience, a plus
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Prepare the highest quality of food products for the restaurant and banquets, according to menu descriptions and hotel’s standards
• Mentor Cook III and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed
• Passion for baking and pastry creation
• Maintain in depth knowledge of food products, sanitation standards and culinary techniques to execute dishes at the highest level
• Restock kitchen supplies and food items and maintain area cleanliness
• Fulfill guest orders in a timely manner with attention to detail
• Work in a collaborative environment maintaining professionalism
• Deliver on guests’ expectations and create WOW moments
• Perform additional duties as assigned based on business need
