Job summary

Kohler Co. invites applications for a 6-month hospitality internship in Kohler, Wisconsin. This onsite program runs May through October and offers hands-on experience in food preparation, service, and kitchen operations to support guest satisfaction.

The role is part-time with shifts 4:00 am–8:00 pm on weekdays and weekends; applicants pursuing culinary studies, fluent in English, currently enrolled or completing classes, and authorized to work in the US without sponsorship are preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Culinary or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of culinary terms and techniques.
• Fluent in English and completed sanitation course.
• Experience with breakfast cookery, vegetables, starches, and plating.
• Ability to lead in kitchen operations when needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all foods necessary for service to the demonstrated culinary standards.
• Produce all quantities according to forecast on station production checklist to reduce food cost.
• Prepare all foods according to tickets, maintaining the established pace of service.
• Develop daily specials that contribute to the development of our food program and new menus.
• Understand the expediter’s role in brunch, lunch and dinner service.
• Ensure quality in all that you do and adhere to production checklists and safety standards.
