Job summary

Kohler Co. in Kohler, WI offers an on-site six-month Internship in Food & Beverage, running May through October. Interns will rotate across Front of House and Back of House operations, gaining exposure to service, training, inventory management, and event projects.

Interns will rotate through outlets, learn scheduling and cost controls, and assist with purchasing, invoicing and guest service, with opportunities to participate in menu development and dining events.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at a college or university seeking a degree in Hospitality or Resort Management.
• Previous Food & Beverage experience preferred.
• Must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Monitor restaurant floor and lead communication between FOH & BOH.
• Train in all positions across FOH and BOH.
• Assist with scheduling, payroll & labor controls.
• Manage inventory levels and conduct counts.
• Assist in daily administrative tasks including purchasing and invoicing.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and respond to requests.
