The Beverly Hills Hotel, part of the Dorchester Collection, seeks a Pastry Cook 1 to join our luxury pastry team. You will craft breads and pastries, follow recipes to exacting standards, and contribute to an exceptional guest experience in a high-end setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in pastry production preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain standards.
• Flexibility to work shifting schedules.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads and pastries including dough, fillings, proofing, baking and decoration per recipes and standards.
• Review production sheets to plan daily baked goods.
• Maintain kitchen logs and inventory for food safety programs; report excess items.
• Ensure proper temperatures of appliances and food; monitor quality and portions.
• Assist chefs in managing restaurant and banquet operations and bread production.
• Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling and priorities to deliver guest experiences.
