Job summary

The Maybourne Beverly Hills is seeking a Cook 1 to join our luxury kitchen team. You will prepare meals and pastries to exact specifications, assist the executive and sous chefs, and maintain sanitation and quality across all stations in a fast-paced environment.

Must have 3+ years in cooking with line supervisory experience, and a strong commitment to food safety, teamwork, and guest satisfaction. This role requires weekend work and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of kitchen or cooking experience.
• Line supervisory experience required.
• Ability to read, understand and communicate in English.
• Knowledge of sanitation and kitchen safety practices.
• Ability to follow recipes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and pastries to chef specifications and set up stations.
• Assist executive and sous chefs with daily tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards at all times.
• Ensure stations are ready to serve 15 minutes prior to service.
• Communicate with kitchen team to review menu and quantity requirements.
• Assist with prep work, line cook duties, cleaning and restocking.
• Adhere to Maybourne Beverly Hills rules and safety procedures.
