Desert Mountain Club in the Phoenix area is seeking a Pastry Cook I to join our culinary team. You will assist daily bakery production, create signature desserts, and help develop standardized pastry recipes for consistent quality across clubs.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of pastry or bakery experience, a team-oriented mindset, and a passion for crafting desserts that delight our members.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience as a Pastry Cook and Baker.
• Strong pastry and dessert production skills.
• Ability to collaborate with Pastry Chef and kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Startup and maintain pastry kitchen equipment.
• Organize and produce daily pastry orders and special requests.
• Prepare plated desserts, chocolates, confections, and bakery items per recipes.
• Assist with breakfast breads and daily bakery items for restaurant teams.
• Support large-function dessert planning with Pastry Chef.
• Ensure quality, proper storage, and inventory of pastry products.
• Co-create seasonal desserts to enhance menus for members.
• Execute pastry orders for catered events and accommodate requests.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards in bakery area.
