Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group is seeking a Pastry Cook to join our growing team. You will learn from a seasoned Pastry Chef, prep and bake desserts, and help turn visions into plated sweets.

A minimum of one year pastry kitchen experience, a positive energy, and strong teamwork are essential. You must read and follow baking directions, communicate clearly with supervisors and guests, and maintain a flexible schedule including holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in a pastry kitchen.
• Positive energy and teamwork attitude.
• Ability to read and understand baking and cooking directions.
• Effective communication with managers, staff and guests.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all dessert and baked goods on the menu using the standard recipe cards.
• Adhere to portion sizes, methods, quality standards and kitchen rules and procedures.
• Complete a daily prep list and closing checklist for assigned duties while keeping station clean.
• Promptly report shortages, equipment problems or quality issues to Pastry Chef.
