Zuma in San Diego is seeking a dedicated Pastry Cook to join the kitchen team. You will help prepare a diverse range of pastries, desserts, and baked goods, ensuring alignment with Zuma's standards of excellence.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of pastry techniques, including mixing, baking, piping, and decorating.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and production of pastries, desserts, and baked goods following recipes and guidelines.
• Execute precise measurements and techniques to ensure consistency and quality in all pastry creations.
• Prepare and assemble components for plated desserts, including sauces, creams, garnishes, and accompaniments.
• Bake, decorate, and finish pastries and desserts with attention to detail and presentation standards.
