Zuma Restaurant is seeking a Pastry Chef de Partie to assist the Pastry Sous Chef and Head Pastry Chef in executing exquisite pastries with precision and creativity. You will lead a station in a high-volume environment, maintaining Zuma's standards and supporting ongoing menu development.

Qualifications

• Love for culinary experiences and passion for Japanese cuisine.
• Excellent team player in large teams.
• Friendly, customer-oriented, and able to create memorable dining experiences.
• Previous experience as Pastry Chef de Partie or similar in a high-volume environment.
• Solid pastry techniques in mixing, baking, piping, and decorating.
• Knowledge of pastry ingredients and flavor combinations.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods to Zuma standards.
• Execute pastry recipes with precision and consistency per presentation guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized pastry section and proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
• Collaborate with the pastry team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
• Monitor inventory and communicate shortages to the Pastry Sous Chef.
• Train and mentor junior pastry team members in techniques and procedures.
• Assist in production schedules and participate in daily pre-service briefings.
