Job summary

Purple Potato Bakery is seeking a dedicated Pastry Cook to join our in-person team. You will prepare croissants, cronuts, cakes, and other pastries, ensuring they meet our high standards and delight customers with every bite.

You will operate donut machinery, manage ingredients, and maintain a clean, safe work area while minimizing waste. Experience in bakery production and good English communication are valued as part of a dynamic kitchen staff.

Qualifications

• Pleasant disposition, friendly, sociable and enthusiastic.
• Practice "Clean as you go" to maintain a clean work area.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Must read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Produce donuts that meet standards by operating donut-making equipment.
• Prepare ingredients for pastry production.
• Complete a proper production schedule and minimize waste.
• Inspect pastries and remove misshapen items.
• Regularly clean and maintain equipment.
• Demonstrate safety and report incidents to a manager.
• Coach/train new employees in production.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
