Marbled & Fin in Charleston SC seeks a Pastry Cook to join a hospitality driven team. This hands-on role rewards precise technique, creativity, and consistency in the pastry arts.

You will prepare pastries, desserts, breads and components, assist in menu development and daily prep, maintain clean stations, and follow safety protocols in a fast paced kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of pastry experience in a professional kitchen or bakery
• Detail oriented, organized, and focused on consistency
• Passionate about pastry technique and open to learning
• Comfortable in a fast paced team oriented kitchen
• Reliable, punctual and able to take direction well

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of pastries, plated desserts, breads and components according to standardized recipes
• Assist in menu development, seasonal dessert features and daily prep
• Ensure consistency in quality, presentation and portioning
• Maintain clean, organized and well stocked pastry and prep stations
• Follow food safety, sanitation and allergen protocols at all times
• Work closely with the BOH team to support service and special events
