Qualifications

• Previous pastry chef experience required.
• Ability to supervise daily pastries production and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the daily production and distribution of all pastries, desserts and baked goods.
• Ensures recipes and standards are followed, food costs are controlled and appropriate quantity is prepared.
• Monitors food handling, presentation, portion control and serving temperatures.
• Maintains sanitation of the pastry kitchen and equipment to meet standards.
• Supervises hourly kitchen/pastry associates, including scheduling and training.
• Plans and implements seasonal menus and inventories pastry supplies.
