Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group in Bentonville, AR is seeking a Pastry Chef to lead our dessert program across a multi-location concept. You will craft desserts that reflect our locale, collaborate with the Executive Chef, and guide pastry cooks to consistently execute high-quality sweets.

You bring proven pastry leadership, 3+ years in pastry kitchens, strong detail, and a creative, problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a successful Pastry Chef.
• 3+ years of experience in a pastry kitchen handling preparation and cooking.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Creative with a problem-solving approach.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of food preparation, sanitation principles, baking techniques and nutrition.
• Must be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Craft a dessert menu aligned with concept and location.
• Prepare recipe cards and ensure team uses them.
• Mentor and motivate future pastry chefs.
• Communicate with chefs and adapt recipes as needed.
• Maintain clean, sanitary station per DHEC regulations.
• Report shortages and equipment or quality issues.
• Attend scheduled meetings and contribute suggestions.
• Prioritize guest experience in all pastry activities.
