Raley's Pastry Chef role supports the operation of prepared foods and collaborates with the Executive Chef to meet department goals. The position emphasizes food safety, stocking, production, and merchandising while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will help plan menus, develop AJ's exclusive pastries, and ensure health compliance. A strong team player, you will contribute to catering production and maintain cleanliness throughout the area.

Qualifications

• Keen eye for food safety and sanitation.
• Experience in pastry production and kitchen operations.
• Willingness to assist in stocking, production, and merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Production, ordering, merchandising, achieving sales and profit goals.
• Assist with menu planning and development, create AJ's exclusive pastries.
• Ensure compliance with health department and weights and measures.
• Maintain communication with the kitchen and department manager.
• Support catering menu planning with profitability and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the preparation area.
• Operate cash register and handle cash per policy.
• Other related duties as assigned.
