Job summary

Raley's is seeking a Cake Decorator to execute daily operations in the Bakery, decorating sheet cakes and assisting with production and merchandising. The role emphasizes food safety, sanitation, and offering excellent customer service while contributing to a welcoming store atmosphere.

The position involves standing for long periods, decorating per order, stocking and maintaining display quality, and participating in store-wide teamwork to nourish the community. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be 21 years of age for any position that serves alcohol.
• Basic food safety awareness and sanitation practices.
• Bakery experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Icing sheet cakes and decorating with spatulas, icing bags and tips per customer order or decor.
• Providing memorable customer service during daily customer interactions.
• Preparation of food, including baking bread, decorating cookies, creating fresh offerings.
• Sharing food knowledge with customers.
• Cleaning, Food Safety, Sanitation.
• Day to day production, merchandising, and quality control of all department offerings.
• Stocking, rotating, and merchandising department products.
