Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1+ year experience as a Pastry Cook/Baker.
• Must be able to attain an Online Food Handler Certificate.
• Knowledge of basic baking techniques.
• Knowledge of how a recipe works.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional Guest service while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Prepare desserts, pastries, and other baked goods using recipes and equipment.
• Prepare and maintain ingredients, tools, supplies, and equipment.
• Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and merchandise.
• Restock pastries, cakes, pies, and other baked goods daily.
• Ensure products are stored, prepared, and served to specifications and standards.
• Execute pastry orders for catered events and accommodate special requests.
• Prepare garnishes for baked items and custom-made desserts as requested.
• Create prep lists and manage tasks through to completion.
• Communicate changes or substitutions to management.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation, health and safety standards.
