Job summary

Simona’s Bakery in Sea Girt, NJ is seeking a Pastry Chef/Cake Decorator with experience to join our high-volume commercial bakery. You will prepare a wide range of desserts, decorate cakes, and help manage production flow. Piping and knife skills are essential, and the role requires weekend/holiday availability.

You should be creative, reliable and able to work with others in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and presentation for all baked goods.

Qualifications

• Experience using a piping bag in a high-volume bakery.
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
• Excellent teamwork and communication in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain reliability, cleanliness and honesty in daily duties.
• Create visually appealing product displays and assist customers with selections.
• Oversee quality control and ensure daily variety and quality of products.
• Prepare the kitchen each morning with equipment and utensils ready for production.
• Bake and make all products as instructed and rotate pastry cases with fresh goods.
