Job summary

Simona’s Bakery in Sea Girt, NJ seeks a Pastry Chef and Cake Decorator with experience to handle a wide range of desserts in a high-volume bakery. The role involves decorating cakes, preparing cookies and other pastries, and interacting with customers to guide orders.

Qualifications

• Experience using a piping bag required.
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• High volume, commercial bakery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a wide variety of desserts, including cakes, cupcakes, cookies and brownies.
• Maintain reliability, cleanliness and honesty in daily tasks.
• Create visually appealing product displays and rotate pastry cases.
• Assist customers in making product selections with informed recommendations.
• Maintain proper stock of ingredients and ensure quality control.
